Executive Succession Program (ESP)

•             The Executive Succession Program (ESP) is designed to both stretch and broaden our leadership pool within the local chapter.  The ultimate goal of the program is to develop the capabilities of new talent for open positions on the board and to ensure the ongoing success of this chapter.

•             Individuals who are selected for ESP, will undergo a process designed to provide a rich array of learning experiences that teach the ESP participants about the responsibilities and activities of our local chapter, in addition to the nation-wide HDI organization.

•             The program is open to anyone that is a member of HDI that has excellent communication, relationship, and leadership skills.

•             During the program, ESP participants will receive regular and ongoing feedback and will have access to the entire board.

•             ESP is 3-month program. During this time, ESP participants will assist in overseeing a specific aspect of our chapter’s operation such as membership, etc., within the board.  Based on need, an ESP participant may lead a meeting, assist in calling potential members, serve on a board/chair a board, or assist in creating a survey.  ESP participants are given the unique opportunity to work directly with the board to develop an understanding of the responsibilities and skills needed to become a future member of our board.
